A task number serves as a unique identifier for each cycle count and blind count generated under the task tab.
You can customize the format of task numbers in Ventory to suit your preferences.
Follow these simple steps to set up your task number format:
Step 1 : Navigate to Inventory counts > Go to Settings
Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom, then:
Set the Prefix (optional)
Set the Suffix (optional)
Define the number of digits (required)
Click on Save.
Note: While the prefix and suffix are optional, it is mandatory to specify the number of digits for the task number.
Whenever a new count task will be created, the task number will be generated as per the format set by you on the platform.
